The Prayer Chain is a voluntary email set in motion as soon as a request is received, at any time day or night. Immediately the request goes out to a large number of people from The Waymart Church who have previously signed up to receive prayer chain requests.

You can ask for prayers for whatever you need. Some people ask for guidance, others ask for healing for an ailing loved one. At The Waymart Church, we believe the prayer chain is another way to be of service to others and fulfill one of our core values, experiencing God’s love and grace.

We have seen many healed with the power of prayer. We belong to the community of faith, and the prayer chain reaffirms the worth we put on that relationship. We can pray for those experiencing:

• Illness

• Death of a loved one

• Divorce

• Unemployment

• Caregiver burnout

• Parenting issues

• And more

To activate the prayer chain, please do one of the follow:

• During the day (8 a.m. to 4 PM, Mon. to Thurs.), call The Waymart Church office at

  570-488-5300

• Send us an email at any time and we will post your request during our next regular office hours.

• If you have an emergent need that you would like to have posted on the Prayer Chain outside of regular office hours, contact your deacon.

Please state clearly what you would like distributed on the prayer chain.
