LIVING FORWARD
Living Forward is The Waymart Church's ministry to widows and widowers who have experienced the loss of their spouse.
In the season of life that widowhood brings, our ministry provides warm fellowship and support, plus a shared understanding and
comfort in meeting with others on the same journey.
We are a group where sharing, laughter, great times
and occasional tears happen.
We are a vibrant group that enjoys our monthly planned gatherings and events that find us either in homes for fellowship dinners,
or enjoying outside events and activities.
'Living Forward' with hope, one day at a time, together, encouraged by God's grace and strength is our goal.

HERE'S A LOOK AT WHAT WE DO TOGETHER!
​
Our Living Forward 'Shuffle' is a once a month gathering at a local restaurant
for a warm time together for food, fellowship and conversation.
It's a great way for us to get to know each other better as we share our lives,
as well as enjoy laughter around the table!
Our Living Forward Events are always fun and varied! Whether a concert in the park on a warm summer night, an horse and carriage ride, gathering in a home for a themed evening or movie night,
a tour & picnic at local park, a pontoon boat ride at Camp Ladore
or some other together event.
We also have poignant times of sharing about our lives,
our journey in widowhood, and fond memories of our spouses,
all the while trusting God for His grace and strength to carry on.
Living Forward Friends uphold one another in prayer through our
monthly Prayer Request and Praise email,
where listed prayer needs and praises are shared
for us to bring to the Lord in prayer.
Our Living Forward Directory is our way of staying connected.
