The Waymart Church will be sponsoring a table at this years Youth For Christ Annual Adult Banquet and silent auction. Youth for Christ is a ministry that covers from Susquehanna County, all the way down to Wilkes-Barre and even into the Poconos. They currently serve pregnant and teen moms through Parent Life. They also reach high school students through Campus Life. Every other year they even take students on short-term service trips through Project Serve to Ghana, West Africa. We're blessed to have seen God grow this ministry over the years and we can't wait to see what God is going to do next through NEPA YFC.

 

Cost for this event is $35 per person, and we would love to have you come along and learn more about this ministry and enjoy an awesome meal with great entertainment.

This years special guest is Christian comedian, Andrew Stanley. Yes, most of you would know his father, Pastor Andy Stanley from North Point Community Church in Atlanta or his grandfather, Pastor Charles Stanley from the First Baptist Church and InTouch Ministries in Atlanta. Andrew, though, has been making a name for himself talking about the funny side of growing up in church and in ministry. We hope you can join us as we take a lighthearted look at the Christian life while being challenged to live whole heartedly for Christ in our world.

Doors open at 5pm for the silent auction, dinner begins at 6pm. We suggest getting there at least 15 minutes early as parking at this venue is generally difficult.
